Hi there, I’m Leda Sammarco, (half Italian, in case you were wondering!), and I’m a writer’s coach. I specialise in helping first-time writers and experienced ones through the process of writing a non-fiction book in the following genres: mind body spirit self-help popular psychology health & wellbeing The millennium is an exciting time to be writing as self-publishing has come into its own alongside obtaining a book deal with a publishing house. In today’s digital world, you can download an ebook or listen to a novel on an ipod, as well as reading a trusty paperback. It is also possible to harness the power of the internet to spread the word about your book. Writing raises your profile and enhances your reputation, brings in new business, generates publicity, speaking engagements and provides you with revenue. You are taken more seriously and positioned as an expert if you have written a book and at the same time, if you want to be recognised in your field (and beyond), you are expected to have written a book - it's a double-edged sword! My clients come from a variety of different backgrounds. Some have their own business in a holistic field or still have one foot in the business world, whilst engaging in an alternative or creative venture the rest of the time. My background is in publishing, public relations, market research and sales & marketing. Over the past 17 years I have read many spiritual books so I am experienced in the genre and up to date with the latest developments and contacts in the publishing world. My knowledge, skills and experience mean that I can get your book published in half the time. Carl Jung famously spoke about "going into the dark to find the gold" and this is a good analogy for the creative process. It is often an intense, deeply personal, challenging, but ultimately rewarding inner journey. Writing is about finding your own voice, following your passions and having the courage to express them in the world.
