The Creative Process: Starting Your Book

90 minute coaching session

Carl Jung famously spoke about "going into the dark to find the gold" and this is a good analogy for the creative process.  It is often an intense, deeply personal, challenging, but ultimately rewarding inner journey.  Writing is about finding your own voice, identifying your passions and having the courage to express them.

Clarify Your Ideas: Follow Up Session

60 minute coaching session

Deep down, you do know what you want to write about and this usually emerges during a Creative Process coaching session.  However, as you go along you may find that your initial idea changes a little or even takes you in a different direction (writing is a journey after all!).

Structuring Your Book: Where Are You Headed?

90 minute coaching session

When you  start writing you need a plan, just as you need a roadmap when you go on a journey.  This doesn't have to be set in stone, but you do need to have a general idea of where you are headed otherwise you may get lost, meander or lose impetus.

Chapter Headings
Additional information if needed (i.e. research or case studies)

Feedback on Your Book: How Are You Doing?

Once you've written a chapter or two, you'll need to get an objective opinion on it.  Like any personal project, you are likely to be too close to it to be aware of any necessary changes and most authors are understandably protective of their writing.

Constructive and sensitive analysis of style, grammar and content
Detailed written feedback sent by email

Advice on Publishing: The Big Wide World

90 minute coaching session

The ultimate aim is for your writing to end up in front of people, to educate, entertain or enlighten them.  It is important to understand and select the most appropriate way to do this.
