My aim is to support you on your writing path, so that you feel confident about expressing your creativity and putting subject matter you feel passionate about out into the world. Using my experience in the field and my intuition, I can see and hear what is going on between the lines and ask the right questions to help you discover what you really want to write about or why you may be struggling to write. It is likely that you are familiar with your subject area either through your work or personal interest. This means that you may have some ideas, feel ready to write or have even made a start. However, you may feel you have nothing new to say which hasn't already been said or feel anxious about putting your book out into the world for all to see. Perhaps you wish to be accountable to somebody in your work or would like to brainstorm different ideas. You may have begun to write but have run out of inspiration or are lacking motivation. There may be also uncertainties around the publishing process, given the myriad of options now available. As a writer's coach, I guide you through the creative process to help you find out what you want to write about and why, help you get started and overcome any writing blocks. I help you generate new ideas and plan the structure of your book. As you go along I provide constructive and confidential feedback on your writing so that you reach your full potential. I see the big picture and focus on the detail. I help you identify the right publishing option whether this is approaching the appropriate publishing house or going the self-publishing route. It is also essential to have a publishing platform regardless of the route you take and I will help you find ways to develop this or build on the one you already have through PR, social networking and strategic alliances. My clients come from a variety of backgrounds and may have their own business in a holistic field or still have one foot in the corporate world, whilst engaging in a more alternative or creative venture the rest of the time.
